Hiring:
Non-CDL Guide/Driver
As part of the transportation team, you're given the amazing opportunity to share the wonders of Yellowstone's greater ecosystem with our guests! All guides are responsible for the safe and proper operation of our company equipment and will be expected to drive in various weather and road conditions throughout the season. You will also help guests load and unload their luggage from the buses and be responsible for developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of the park's natural, cultural, human, and geologic history. We want you to be able to share that exciting information with the guests in an informative and entertaining way! Please see below for more specifics depending on the position.
The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: April/May 2024 - October 2024
Pay: $15.25 per hour
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)
Responsibilities:
Safe and proper operation of company equipment in all weather and road conditions
Maintaining professionalism while working outdoors in extreme weather and during vehicle breakdowns
Loading and unloading of luggage
Providing courteous guest service and knowledgeable, interpretive commentary on Park features and history
Leading guided walks up to a mile or longer
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the natural, cultural, and geologic history of Yellowstone National Park
Keeping tours on a time schedule
Prompt and correct completion of all required reports
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Must meet all DOT physical requirements and pass a DOT physical exam.
Pass all DOT required Drug and Alcohol Screens.
Must be able to drive for up to 10 hours with occasionally 15 hours of total work per day.
Must possess current 1st Aid/CPR certifications (training is provided).
Communicate effectively through speech and hearing.
Strong reading and comprehension skills to research tour information.
Able to organize information about Yellowstone National Park into an interpretive thematic tour.
Judgment and leadership to keep your tour on a semblance of a schedule.
Able to work without close supervision
Physical Requirements:
Able to walk up to a mile several times each day at elevations ranging from 5,300 feet to 10,500 feet above sea level.
Simultaneously steer a vehicle, shift its transmission, operate accelerator and brake pedals, and give commentary while driving in heavy traffic.
Able to bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs. simultaneously and repeatedly.
Withstand up to 10 hours of consecutive driving on rough and/or icy roads.
Able to work outdoors in variable weather (including rain, sleet, snow, direct sunlight, high winds, and temperatures ranging from -60 to +100 degrees Fahrenheit)
Campgrounds

Job Summary:
Campground employees are responsible for daily upkeep of campground sites, cleaning & maintenance of comfort stations, giving campers outstanding guest service experiences and being subject matter experts on all things camping in Yellowstone National Park.
The Details:

Season Dates: April - November
Pay: $14.25 - $16.25 hourly
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)
Responsibilities:
Camper Services Attendant
Responsible for providing a clean and sanitary shower and laundry facility for guests and assisting guests with necessary information
Cashiering duties using a point-of-sales system
Some supervisory positions available
Campground Attendant
Responsible for the upkeep of the campground, cleaning and sanitizing restroom facilities, and assisting guests with necessary information
Some supervisory positions available
Campground Guest Service Agent
Resolve guest problems skillfully with a willingness and desire to understand a guest’s
viewpoint and to take any necessary steps so that the guest is satisfied when they leave
Document guest problems and/or complaints using correct forms and procedures
Make, confirm, assist, and cancel reservations, including promoting and selling park activities
Register guests while receiving and posting proper payments and finalizing guest accounts at checkout

Qualifications:
Human relations skills. Must be a "people-person" who thrives on public contact.
Communication, sales, cash handling, and computer skills
Physical Requirements:
Drivers License for driving company vehicles
Lifting/carrying up to 40 lbs
Standing for long periods of time and walking up in down stairs as well as outdoors
Frequent standing, walking, reaching outward and above the shoulder for up to 6 hours per shift.
Repetitive motion of arms, wrist, and hands for up to 7 hours per shift.
General Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
The Engineering & Maintenance team is responsible for opening properties prior to guest arrival, maintenance and repair during the season, and closing properties at the end of the season.
The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: March/April 2024 - October/November 2024
Pay: $19.00 - $20.75
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)
Responsibilities:
Provides general maintenance skills necessary for repair and maintenance of facility-related assets
Performs diagnosing of building systems as required
Performs work associated with cyclic, predictive and preventive maintenance procedures for related responsibilities
Responsible for materials used and ordering of items needed for job completion or inventory replacement per established company procedures
Responsible for maintenance and continuous development toward a safe & healthy work environment
Perform other job duties as required
Qualifications:
Must possess mechanical or electrical aptitude as demonstrated by previous employment, education or hobbies
Display the interpersonal skills required to effectively work in a team setting
A working knowledge of applicable OSHA and NFPA safety regulations and requirements, including the ability to recognize and correct unsafe work practices or equipment installations which do not meet code
Must be at least 19 years old and possess a current, valid, driver’s license with a good driving record for the past 3 years
