Trough - From its Western flair to its home-cooked flavors, Trough is the ideal spot to start the day or take a midday meal break. For breakfast, enjoy Paws Up favorites like huckleberry pancakes, eggs Benedict, or the chef's scramble, among other classics. After working up an appetite on a trail ride, hike, or other thrilling adventure, take a seat inside Trough and savor heartier fare like the Paws Up double smash burger and smoked wagyu tri-tip, or lighter fare with fresh seasonal salads. There is always room for tempting sides, especially black truffle fries.
Tank - Great adventures deserve to be told over a spirited cocktail, a tall glass of beer or a celebratory champagne, and Tank is just the place to indulge. The Resort's gathering place for guests of all ages, Tank embodies the spirit of the West, albeit with an upscale twist. Pull up a chair at the bar and order one of our signature cocktails or mocktails that shift with the seasons and are made with the highest-quality products, along with a snack or small plate. Settle into one of our cozy leather chairs by the fire or catch a game on TV while enjoying breathtaking views of our Ranch.
Pomp - Open for dinner only, Pomp is the centerpiece of the Paws Up culinary experience with dishes that are exciting yet approachable. Since local and regional ingredients serve as the foundation, the menu shifts nightly and with the seasons. No matter the evening, expect a tempting array of selections like Rocky Mountain elk tartare and sea scallop crudo to smoked Snake River beef picanha and wild king salmon. Fine wines and cocktails complete the experience in this sophisticated Western dining room.

The Primary Functions are:
Set up station with predetermined mise en place to ensure everything will be ready for service.
Prepare food items for guests using a quality predetermined method in a timely and consistent manner.
Cook all food according to recipes, quality standards, presentations standards, and food
preparation checklist.
Demonstrate safe and proper use of equipment at all times; Perform duties in a safe manner.
Reduce waste in the kitchen to a minimum.
Understand and implement the basic culinary tasks and procedures such as first-in, first-out (FIFO), labeling and sanitation.
Monitor all food quality and presentation while preparing food.
Stock and rotate food; alert the Sous Chef regarding low inventory items.
Work on the line, salad station, and prep station or any other stations as needed.
Control the pace of the food orders and set the tone for the ticket flowing process.
Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
Operate, maintain and properly clean deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, oven steam table, and flat top grill.
Advise in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
Label, date, store and rotate all products while maintaining assigned stock levels. Control food items requested, ensuring stock is maintained without over production.
Demonstrate proper production of food items, working efficiently to achieve maximum productivity.
Assist in the set-up and break down of work station.
Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
Cut, trim, and bone meats and poultry for cooking.
Practice basic sanitation and stock rotation and refrigerator cleanliness; keep all work areas clean and tidy.
Looking for Team Members with:
High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work; Certificate in culinary arts or relevant field
Two years’ experience as a Cook/Line Cook in a resort or fine dining setting

Paws Up Montana is seeking to add Servers to our team. The purpose of the Server is to be the primary contact between guests and the back of house. A server understands the flow of service which can range between but is not limited to ticket times, food preparation, guests’ needs & clearing of tables. To be passionate about hospitality and to deliver the highest standard of service to our guests.
This position starts at $18 an hour and goes up from there depending on experience.

The Primary Functions are:
Take and serve orders
Enter guest orders using resort POS systems
Know the sequence of service and follow it each time when approaching a table
Prepare tables with special attention to sanitation and presentation
Attend to guests upon entrance
Present menus and help guests select food/beverages
Answer questions pertaining to the Restaurant menus
Keep up-to-date knowledge on all menu items including preparation, any allergens, and alternative preparations, and specials; Communicate food restrictions to Food & Beverage and Culinary team
Collaborate with server assistants to ensure guests needs are met
Check food before serving it to guest to ascertain that appearance, temperature, order and portions are correct

Assist with guest service issues accurately and promptly; Communicate effectively with Restaurant Manager to assist

Seasonal Photographer
Position Overview:
Paws Up is seeking an experienced, professional photographer to create polished imagery that enhances the guest experience and reflects the essence of the resort. This role blends guest‑facing portraiture, special event coverage, and marketing shoots that capture everything from landscapes and outdoor adventures, to accommodations and amenities. This position is ideal for a creative and passionate photographer who loves to connect with guests, collaborate with colleagues, and tell stories through exceptional imagery in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Note: Experience capturing social video a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Photography: Provide photography services to guests (couples, families, groups of friends, etc.). Includes coordinating time and shoot location, styling guidance, quick turnaround previews, and delivery of high‑resolution files in a timely manner.
Event Coverage: Capture photography and social video content for on-property events such as July 4th celebrations, food-and-wine weekends, WinterFest, Cowgirl, Christmas programming, etc. Includes brainstorming and organizing pre-event shot lists, producing photo and video galleries, editing and color correcting selects, and delivering and storing edited content in resort’s photo and video libraries.
Marketing Content: Produce high‑quality, on-brand, signature imagery that captures the beauty, luxury, adventure, and serenity of the resort. Capture photos and social video of everything from landscapes and ranch operations; to accommodations, dining venues, and wellness offerings; to staff profiles and outdoor adventures (horseback, fishing, snow activities, and more).
Post‑Production Management: Edit images with exceptional eye and attention to detail, retouch and color correct as needed, prepare and distribute web‑ and print‑ready assets, and manage an organized content library.
Guest Sales and Hospitality Services: Interact with guests in a way that reflects the exceptional level of service that Paws Up is known for. Coordinate shoots with Guest Experience Team, work with guests to answer questions as necessary, ensure guests have an enjoyable experience during the photo shoot, manage guest communication post-shoot, and delivery high-quality content in a warm, polite, and timely manner.
Collaboration: Work with Marketing, Events, PR, Sales, Operations, Activities, F&B, and other Paws Up department to develop shoot briefs, create seasonal content calendars, organize logistics, and develop on‑demand assets as necessary.
Operations: Maintain and manage property-owned equipment, maintain backups, ensure equipment is shoot-ready, and comply with resort policies.
Qualifications:
3+ years professional experience in hospitality, lifestyle, or event photography (luxury hospitality preferred).
Strong portfolio demonstrating portraits, events, landscapes, and lifestyle marketing imagery that fit a high-end brand.
Proficiency with DSLR/mirrorless systems, a range of lenses, off-camera lighting, and flash.
Experience with drone photography and FAA/compliance certification if drones used.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop (or equivalent), with fast, consistent editing workflow.
Excellent interpersonal skills, polished presentation, discretion, and the ability to work with high-net-worth guests.
Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and peak seasonal periods; comfortable with outdoor and ranch environments.
A passion for storytelling and creating unforgettable experiences for guests.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage time efficiently and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professional professionally with guests and staff.
Valid driver's license; reliable transportation. Willingness to pass background check and any required resort onboarding.
