Sailing Instructor


 

Start and End Dates: June 10-August 14

Position Qualifications: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced sailing instructor to join our team at Laurel South this summer in Maine. As a sailing instructor, you will be responsible for teaching campers how to sail, providing them with a fun and safe environment, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.

  • Instruct campers on how to sail and properly handle boats

  • Create lesson plans and develop sailing curriculum

  • Ensure the safety of campers at all times during sailing activities

  • Maintain and inspect boats and equipment regularly

  • Minimum of 1 year of sailing experience, including experience teaching others

  • Ability to work with children of various ages and skill levels

  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred
