Driver Guides for Holland America-Princess Alaska/Yukon lead guests in an exploration of some of the world’s most magnificent and unspoiled country. You will transport our guests on motorcoaches and deliver an educational and entertaining tour. Tours range from short day excursions to extended adventures through Alaska and the Yukon. Our season spans from early May through late September/early October, during which, you will provide our guests with an unmatched adventure. Together you will experience Alaska in a way you will never forget.

As a Driver Guide for Holland America-Princess, you will:

Earn your class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement and air brake restriction lifted through our PAID company training program.

• Our CDL training begins in late March and consists of a combination of 100 hours of behind-the-wheel and classroom training, as well as extensive local tour development training. 

• Training is conducted all week with a 30-hour work week guaranteed.   

• Routinely drive a motorcoach and transport guests for transfers, day excursions, or multiple day adventures through the beautiful state of Alaska.  

• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and delivering narrated tours of the area to your passengers.    

• Meet interesting people from all over the world.  

• Earn a competitive seasonal wage with the potential for gratuities.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 or older. 

• Held a valid US driver’s license for 3+ years.  

• Clean driving record.  

• Must take and pass a pre-employment drug screening and be certified as physically qualified through a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.

• Ability to safely drive a motorcoach while speaking to passengers, answering questions and providing narration, while working in a team or group environment.
