Responsibilities 

  • Requires drivers license and skill necessary to safely operate company vehicle.

  • Will sort, load and off load heavy bags of linens as scheduled throughout shift. 

  • Ensures all storage areas and linen closets are stocked and kept neat, clean and organized.

  • Processes and stocks incoming supply orders. 

  • Maintains a clean and organized company vehicle.

  • Provides excellent guest services and information as requested. 

  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications 

  • Requires valid drivers license and ability to safely operate a box truck in inclement and changing weather. 

  • Ability to work independently and in a team to prioritize work, make decisions and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.

  • Requires effective verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills. 

Physical Requirements 

  • Duties of the position are physical, requiring both strength and stamina to fulfill the duties of the position. 

  • Ability to lift, carry and move 50 pound bags of linen on and off box truck equipped with lift gate repeatedly throughout shift.

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment. 

  • Repeated reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, and kneeling, grasping, pushing and pulling.

  • Requires sitting for periods of time with visual and audio acuity sufficient to drive a vehicle. 

  • Exposure to varying climate conditions including sun, heat, cold, wind, rain and snow. 

  • Use of chemicals to clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.

Responsibilities 

  • Schedules team member duties and assists manager with training and compliance.

  • Reviews work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, or safety.

  • Ensures proper POS, cash handling and tip record-keeping for the shift.

  • Investigates and resolves complaints regarding food quality, service and accommodations.

  • Perform some service tasks such as assisting guests, stocking shelves, counting inventory, and cashier duties.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

  • Restaurant experience required with two years of supervisory experience preferred.

  • Self-motivated to work without direct supervision, embrace challenges and initiate projects and opportunities.

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication, POS and cash handling skills.

  • Proven ability to implement and/or enforce procedures and rules while directing team members. 

  • Must maintain excellent customer service and staff relations in a faced paced environment.

Physical Requirements 

  • Required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

  • Will stand and walk throughout shift with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and grasping and frequently reach over head up to 7 feet.

  • Push and pull movements on occasion to move equipment, mops and brooms.

  • May be exposed to normal dangers found in kitchen environment, such as cuts, scrapes, burns and scalds. 

  • Some work may be required outdoors in varying temperatures including cold, wind, rain and heat.

Responsibilities 

  • Greet and provide friendly guest services to check in and out of the hotel efficiently.

  • Run night audit function, reconcile credit card payments, guest folio, billing and corrections.

  • Review pending advance deposits and charges.

  • Quote room rates and room package information.

  • Complete shift closing, drop cash and check payments, securing the bank at all times and follow proper cash handling policies.

  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications 

  • Previous experience in POS, credit and cash handling, front desk and night audit is preferred. 

  • Previous experience in customer service environment is beneficial.

  • Good communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and team members.

  • Basic math skills; ability to accurately handle money and count change

  • Experience in data entry using MS Excel.

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to stand and walk entirety of shift. 

  • Will bend, twist, crouch, push, pull, grasp items, and climb stairs throughout shift.

  • Will occasionally lift 25 pounds. 

  • Visual acuity and manual dexterity to work with computer and paperwork. 

  • Exposure to and use of chemicals required to clean and sanitize work areas.

  • Consistently supervise and train retail team members to maintain standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Work with staff to regularly evaluate, create, and maintain professional visual displays and store cleanliness.

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for full-time Shuttle Drivers to join our team at Yavapai Hotel in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for driving non-CDL vehicles, safely transporting team members between various destinations on and off our property. This position is for transporting team members only.

Responsibilities 

  • This position requires the team member to drive 12-passenger company van on and off property.

  • The successful applicant will have an unrestricted driver’s license and can pass a DOT physical.

  • Follow regularly assigned routes and schedules, and complete end of shift paperwork.

  • Ensure maintenance is performed, report mechanical or safety issues and accidents to management.

  • Respond timely to requests and assignments with appropriate action.

  • May assist housing staff with cleaning team member rooms and common areas during slower periods.

Qualifications 

  • Requires a valid drivers license (non CDL) and clean driving record with minimum 3 years' driving experience and pass DOT physical. 

  • Must be skilled to safely operate a 12-passenger van during changing weather patterns including snow, ice, wind and rain while observing all rules and regulations. 

  • Requires clear and effective verbal and written communication skills and communicate with 2-way radio. 

  • Must be available to work all shifts including nights and weekends as regular schedule. 

Physical Requirements 

  • Requires unrestricted vision and hearing to perform day and night driving duties. 

  • Must be able to sit and safely operate vehicle for extended periods without becoming distracted.  

  • Exposure to chemicals needed for cleaning areas and surfaces.
