General Counselors are the heart of Watitoh. They spend their day overseeing the general care and well-being of 10-12 campers all of whom are the same age or grade. During the typical day, they are responsible for getting their campers to program areas, participating in these activities, and overseeing the emotional & physical well-being of campers (ex: check ins, problem-solving, relationship building) throughout the day. They bring any major problems to their respective Head Counselor. This is the ideal job for someone who is looking to gain skills in working with children, organization, child-development, outdoor education, recreation, social work, and classroom teaching.

Additionally, the camp photographers will assist in the production of an end of summer slideshow highlighting all of the campers, staff, and events of the summer.
