Salary: $16.00- $32.00/ hr.

A typical day at the Bungee America begins with greeting our guests at the trailhead, leading them on 5 mile hike into the mountains, crisscrossing the San Gabriel River multiple times to arrive the Bridge to Nowhere (BTNW).  Guests are then instructed in all aspects of bungee jumping, equipment, procedures, safety, technique and how to look awesome for their Instagram.

We are 100% customer service, 100% of the time.

We exist to serve our guests so, What we do is important but How we do, what we do is what sets us apart. 

All positions require extensive interaction, engagement and communication with our guests.

Seasonal Weekend Positions Available (March - September)

Permanent weekend positions available.  

$2500 Bonus upon completion of one year commitment.

Long hours & great overtime: 

  • 10-14 hr /day during peak season (Memorial Day to Labor Day).

  • 8-10hr/day during non-peak season

Duties & Responsibilities Bungee Guide -Level 1

  • Registration Assistant: Greeting and assisting in the registration of guests (Trailhead or BTNW)

  • Hiking Assistant: Be familiar with policies and procedures to safely guide guests from trailhead to BTNW.

  • Complete both Harnesser and Retrieval Operator training.

  • Demonstrate knowledge, understanding and execution of Manual Retrieval.

  • Visible and eager to answer questions and help guests as necessary.

  • Assist other teammates as needed.

  • Demonstrate marketing efficacy.

  • Ability to focus, listen and learn at a high level.

  • Ability to create a fun, happy, exciting & engaging guest experience.

  • Strong communication skills while addressing guests in a leadership capacity.

  • Strong adherence to company protocols.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Ability to work outdoors all day in potentially difficult conditions such as, inclement weather, cold, rain, heat, sun, wind, etc.

  • Must be able to be comfortable and pleasant in uncomfortable situations. 

  • Willingness to be a team player.  

  • Physically fit with good balance, coordination and agility.

Pre-requisites / Qualifications:

  • Minimum 18 year of age

  • Must pass pre-employment background check

  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug screening

  • CPR / First Aid (or able to provide within 6 months of hire).

  • Fully versed in the contents of Bungee America’s website.
